Last updated on Wednesday, December 5, 2018

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Gov. Eric J. Holcomb and Google.org Tuesday announced a grant to expand The Last Mile, a technology and business skills-training program for learners behind bars.

Part of that grant will support the launch of Indiana's first coding program for incarcerated juveniles at the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility.

Some of the funds will also be used to outfit the inaugural Indiana program at the Indiana Women's Prison with new computers, electronic devices and audiovisual equipment for students and their instructor.
