Martha Maris McFarlan of Bedford passed away Sunday morning, December 13th at Kindred Hospital in Greenwood, Indiana at the age of 85.
Born in 1924 in Mitchell, Indiana to parents, Harvey Curtis Chastain and Effie Dora (Enochs) Chastain, she had been married to Raymond McFarlan, was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Martha is survived by one son, Jim McFarlan and his wife Sandy; one daughter, Joyce McFarlan; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Myrtle Robbins and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, Claude, Clifford, Clyde, Dale, Floyd, Howard and Pate; one half-brother, Ray and two sisters, Mae and Madge.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 16th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, December 15th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
