Phyllis J. Elliot of Bedford passed away Thursday evening, December 10th at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 82.
Born in 1927 in Lawrence County, Indiana to parents, Orth Perry Smith and Zoe Etta (Holland) Smith she had been married to James Elliot since 1946.
Phyllis was a housewife, school cook for Bedford and Shawswick schools and was a graduate of Shawswick High School.
She is survived by two sons, James Michael Elliot and Timothy Elliot; one daughter, Julie Ann Elliot; two grandchildren; one sister, Marcha Beeman as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Stephan E. Elliot.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, December 14th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, December 13th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
