Henry C. Osborne of Mitchell passed away Friday afternoon at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 78.
Born in 1932 in Beatyville, Kentucky to parents Bascom and Flora (Cole) Osborne, he had been married to Bettie Daughrity since 1953, was retired from Carpenter Body Works and attended Faith Mission Church.
He is survived by his wife; children, Terry Osborne, Valena Whitner, Tim Osborne, Tracy Osborne, Joe Osborne and Vanessa Osborne, as well as several grandchildren and one sister, Lena Breeding.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson; brothers, Roscoe, Bert, Cecil and Walker Osborne; as well as a sister, Bertha Fraley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 17th at 10:30AM in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Connerley Switch Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, March 16th and from 9:30AM until the hour of service on Wednesday, March 17th at the funeral home.
