James W. Wubben of Heltonville, known to friends and family as Jim, passed away Saturday evening, March 13th at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 70.
Born in 1939 in Bedford to parents Fred and Margaret (Scott) Wubben, he had been married to Beth Nicholson since 1984, was employed at Cummins Engine for 33 years and worked for North Lawrence School Corporation.
James was a graduate of Heltonville High School in the class of 1959 and was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Kal Wubben and his wife, Debbie; two daughters, Amy Luenebrink and her husband Tony, Holly Powell and her husband Matt; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Wubben and his wife Jackie, John Wubben and Robert Wubben and his wife Joanne; as well as two sisters, Jane Stockman and Janet Tincher and her husband Mike.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 19th at 1:00PM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, March 18th and from 10:00AM until the hour os service at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
