Donna K. Duncan – Orleans
Donna K. Duncan of Orleans passed away Tuesday morning, July 20th at her residence at the age of 63. Born in 1947 in Lawrence County to Hugh and Peggy Smith, she had been married to Todd Duncan since 1986, was retired from Dana Corporation as a machine operator and was a member of Life Tabernacle. She is survived by her husband; children, Kelle Manners and her husband Jon; her mother; sisters, Diana McKinney and her husband Garry and Carole Smith; as well as two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one son, Kevin Pemberton. Funeral services will be held at 9:30AM on Friday, July 23rd in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Talbott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday and from 8:30AM until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Leo Weaver – Bedford
Leo Weaver of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 20th at the University of Louisville Hospital at the age of 72. Arrangements are pending at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
Braden Everett Shayne Wilson – Bedford
Braden Everett Shayne Wilson of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 20th at his residence at the age of 20. Born in 1989 in Reno, Nevada to Darrin Buffington and Melissa Adams, he was a chef at Pappa’s Restaurant. He is survived by his parents; girlfriend, Sarah Martin; one brother, Dylan Adams; one sister, Mirabella Buffington; as well as his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, July 23rd in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Gwendolynn Marie Sanders – Bedford
Gwendolynn Marie Sanders of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 20th at the age of 31. Born in 1979 in Xenia, Ohio to Mark Parkey and Linda Hughes, she was a cab driver for Yellow Cab in Bloomington and worked for Velma’s Diner in Shoals. She is survived by one son, Brian Sanders; her parents; as well as two brothers, Gary Hughes and Larry Brown. She was preceded in death by her grandfather and two step-sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday at the funeral home.
