Marlene J. Kern – Bedford
Marlene J. Kern of Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 29th at her residence at the age of 74. Born in 1936 in Bedford to James and Drusilla VanWinkle, she had been married to Thomas W. Kern since 1952, was a member of the Free Methodist Church and was a member of the Shawswick Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Burton; one sister, Betty Butler; as well as several nieces and nephews and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ricky Kern; as well as two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, August, 3rd at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Tuesday, August 3rd at the funeral home.
