James W. Alexander, Jr. – Bedford
James W. Alexander, Jr. of Bedford passed away on Sunday, August 22nd at the age of 67. Born in 1942 to James Alexander, Sr. and Carol Alexander, he had been married to Barbara Inman since 1965, joined the U.S. Navy in 1962, worked at Crane until his retirement in 1995, was a member of Gillen Post #33 American Legion, was a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman’s Club and was an inactive member with the Owensburg Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife; two children, James Alexander, III and his wife Mirna and Debbie Roberts and her husband Mathew; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith. A memorial service will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, August 27th in the Red Brick building at Otis Park. Military rites will be accorded by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
