Steven Leon Harbstreit – Bedford
Steven Leon Harbstreit of Bedford passed away Saturday evening, September 18th in Jefferson County at the age of 58. Born in 1952 to Leon and Ada Harbstreit, he was a union electrician with IBEW Local #16, working for McIntrye Brothers, was a 1970 graduate of Bedford High School, attended Indiana State University, and was a member of the White River Bow Hunters and the Sons of the American Legion Gillen Post #33. He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Stephanie Blackmore; one son, Trent Harbstreit; four sisters, Karen Chenault, Kathleen Hardin, Sally Connerly and Jane Hunt; one brother, Brent Harbstreit; as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 23rd at 11:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday, September 22nd at the funeral home.
