Donna Walker – Bedford
Donna Walker of Bedford passed away Sunday morning, September 26th at Golden Living Center at the age of 93. Born in 1916 in Bedford to Roscoe and Minnie Lake, she had been married to Curtis Walker since 1941. She was a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone, worked for Diana Shop, Loudens Grocery and Thrifty Mart Grocery Store and was a graduate of Bedford High School. She is survived by two sons, Charles Walker and his wife Susan, Jon Walker and his wife Vickie; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Marie Schloot and Dorothy Davis; as well as one brother, James Lake. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 28th at Green Hill Cemetery.
