William Marvin Bowles Jr. – Bedford
William Marvin Bowles Jr. of Bedford passed away Tuesday evening, October 5th at his residence at the age of 73. Born in 1937 in Taylorsville, Kentucky to William and Alice Bowles and had been married to Angela Eisenback since 1960 worked with Texas Gas and Transmission as a pipeline foreman, drove a school bus for North Lawrence Community Schools, was a graduate of Eastern High Schools in Kentucky in the class of 1956, was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife; five daughters Glenda Bowles, Janice Somers, Rhonda Rose, Gail Moore and Kelly Hanner; one brother, George Bowles and one sister, Penny Schmitz; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Joanne and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 9th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
Lisa L. Dotts – Bedford
Lisa L. Dotts of Bedford passed away Tuesday evening, October 5th at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 45. Born in 1965 in Gary, Indiana to Roger Payton and Connie Probasco, she had been married to David C. Dotts Jr. since 2005, was a homemaker, attended Bedford North Lawrence High School and attended Norman Christian Church. She is survived by her husband; her parents; daughters, Bobbi Hensley, Kristian Parsley and Kayla and Jennie Dotts; three sisters, Tina Roll, Shawnna Naker and Regina Parker; one brother, Kenny Stidam; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30PM on Friday, October 8th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
