Ruby C. T. Pruett
Ruby C. T. Pruett, formerly of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, March 29th at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 104. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday, April 3rd at Bonds Chapel United Methodist Church with Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until 6:00PM on Saturday at Chastain Funeral Home.
Chris Eric Wade – Williams
Chris Eric Wade of Williams passed away on Tuesday, March 29th at his residence at the age of 37. Born in 1973 in Lawrence County to Sanford George Wade and Becky Hawk, he was a laborer at the B.G. Hoadley Quarry, was an active member of the Old Union Christian Church and Masonic Lodge F & AM and had been married to Stacie Lewis since 2004. He is survived by his wife; three children, Kaitlyn Lewis, Lainey Wade and Chance Wade; his parents; two sisters, Mindy Ballard and her husband Larry and Jennifer Waggoner and her husband Byron; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Old Union Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30PM until 8:00PM on Friday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
