Mary Louella Hawkins
Mary Louella Hawkins passed away on Monday, July 18th at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital at the age of 88. Born in 1923 in Bedford to Fred Chaney and Ruth Edna Chaney, she had been married to Roy Gordon Hawkins since 1943, was a housewife, was a graduate of Needmore High School and was a member of the Limestone Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Marion Chaney and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 21st at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
