Aaron Jaye “A.J.” Brinegar – Bedford
Aaron Jaye “A.J.” Brinergar, 49, Bedford died at his home at 3 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011.
Formerly of CHicago, Ill. and Oakland CA. He was born November 4, 1961 in Bedford, Indiana. He is the son of Aaron Jeffery Brinegar and Valerie (Bochenek) Brinegar. He married Lynn Masterson, who lives in Bedford.
A.J. was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bedford. He loved nature and had climbed every major mountain in the United States. He was an artist, photographer, painter and bicyclist. A.J. was a die-hard Cubs fan, having lived in Wrigleyville, while attending the Chicago Art Institute. He was also a Grateful Dead having attended over 100 concerts throughout the country.
A.J. worked as a bindery operator at Spectrum Press in Bloomington. He attended Baker River School in New Hamphire and returned to Bedford and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1980. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School Of The Arts Institute, in Chicago, Ill.
He is survived by his wife Lynn (Masterson) Brinegar, of Bedford; son, Andrew Jacob “Andy” Brinegar of Bedford; his father, Aaron J. Breinegar, of Bedford; sister Emily Rebecca Brinegar, of Bloomington; aunt Pen and uncle, Dave Combs, of Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his mother Valerie in 2001; brother Steve in 2011; paternal grandparents, George and Roxie Brinegar; maternal grandparents, Casey and Freida Bockenek.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society in memory of A.J. Brinegar. Arrangement are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford, Indiana.
Lucille Randolph – Bedford
Lucille Randolph, 86, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Friday, September 9th at the Johnson Christian Village.
Born on November 23, 1924 in Martin County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Russell Tow and Mary E. (Hopkins) Tow. She was a homemaker and a member of the East Oolitic Community Church. Lucille married James O. Randolph in 1942 in Shoals, Indiana and he passed away February 25, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Wayne Randolph and wife, Rita, of Bedford and Jim Randolph and wife, Linda, of Bedford; two daughters , Debra Kay Ritter and husband, Jerry, of Springville and Sherry Lynn Perkins and husband, Jerry, of Camby; eight grandchildren, Donny Wright, Robyn Williams, Troy Ritter, Trisha Patton, J.R. Randolph, Danielle Todd, Stacy Perkins, Megan Perkins; seven great grandchildren, Danielle Wright, D.J. Wright, Carlie Williams, Cheaney Ritter, Calie Ritter, Taylor Patton, Riley James Patton; two sisters, Rosie Hager and Virginia Street, both of Loogootee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Russell and Wilford and three sisters, Irene, Beatrice, Mamie and Edith.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Burial will Follow in the Springville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, September 12th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
