Marcia D. Robinson – Beford
Marcia D. Robinson, 79, of Bedford, died at 5:20 p.m. at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford, Indiana.
Marcia was born on September 29, 1932 to Everett Davisson and Mary (Cross) Davisson. She married John Norman in May 1987 and he survives.
She graduated from Hagerstown High School. Marcia retired from the Anderson, IN., Kmart after 20 years of service. She was a member of Lawrence County Art Association. She was a watercolor artist and lover of nature. No sunset escaped her. She loved to travel and liked the Blues.
Surviving are her husband, John Norman, of Bedford; one daughter, Dixie Clark of Daleville, IN.; one son, Todd and his wife Kris, Robinson, of Muncie, IN.; five grandchildren, Kara Cantrell, of Dalevill, IN., Kandace Robinson, of Muncie, IN, Kyanne Robinson, of Muncie, IN., Kinsey Robinson, of Muncie, IN.., Justin Clark, of Knoxville, TN..; two great grandchildren, Eli and Noah Cantrell, of Daleville, IN.; one sister, Sylvia and her husband Ron, of Sand Springs, OK., Three brothers, Davey and his wife Mary Ellen, Davisson, of Pittsburgh, PA., Denver and his wife Frances Davisson, of Sulphur Springs, TN., Jim Woolums, of Anderson, IN;. several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Michael Terry.
Funeral services will be October 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Ballard & Sons Funeral Home, in Dalesville, IN. Burial will follow at the Saunders Cemetery, in Dalesville, IN. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ballard & Sons Funeral Home in Daleville, IN. Contributions may be made the Alzheimer’s Association in Memory of Marcia. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.fergusonlee.com.
