Glenda Sue Geyer,- Punta Gorad, Florida
Glenda Sue Geyer, 67, formerly of Mitchell, passed away October 8, 2011.
Born November 9, 1949, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Lowell and Betty
(Cook) Wood. She married Mark D. Geyer October 10, 1970.
Glenda graduated from Mitchell High School in 1967. She retired from the WalMart Distribution Center in Punta Gorda. Her hobbies included boating, fishing, hunting, billiards, crafts, and gardening.
Surviving: husband, Mark D. Geyer, Punta Gorda, FL; daughter, Jennifer Lee Simpson, Lehigh Acres, FL; son, Brian Douglas Geyer, Punta Gorda, FL;grandchildren, Courtney, Elyssa, Sebastian, and Emma; great granddaughter, Rachel; brother, Alan Wood, Mitchell
Her parents preceded her in death.
A family graveside service will be Thursday at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home.

Sharmaine Louise Sneed, – Campbellsburg
Sharmaine Louise Sneed, 57, of Campbellsburg, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born November 20, 1953, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Clyde and
Helen (Simpson) Houchin. She married Jimmy Hayes Sneed, Sr. July 1, 1972.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving: husband, Jimmy Sneed, Sr., of Campbellsburg; sons, Blane Andrew Sneed, Campbellsburg and Jimmy Hayes Sneed, Jr., Salem; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Conrad Houchin, of Mitchell, Richard Houchin, of Mitchell, and Paul Wayne Houchin; sisters, Peggy Froman, of Orleans, Donna Graves, of Bedford and Kay Enfield, of Elkhart; nieces, Angela Joy Froman, of Orleans and Donna Kay Froman, of Bedford
Her parents and brother, Ronnie Houchin, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on
Friday at the funeral home.
