Steven D. McFarlan – Orleans
Steven D. McFarland, 50, passed away at 8:28 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.
Born February 3, 1961, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Samuel Dwight and Elva Mae (Conner) McFarland. He married Cathy Phipps June 3, 1994 and she survives.
He was a stonecutter at Hoosier Cut Stone.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy McFarland, of Orleans; daughters, Ashley and her husband Wayne Holt, of Orleans, Michelle and her husband Russell Ingle, of Orleans, Mary Ann and her husband Larry Knight, of Orleans; JoAnn and her husband Steve Shaw, of Orleans; stepson, Cody White, of Garland, Texas; brothers, Sam and his wife Kathy McFarland, of Orleans, Scott McFarland, of Mitchell, Shawn and his wife Valerie McFarland, of Indianapolis; sisters, Betty Pruett, of Mitchell, Kathy Kirk, of Mitchell,
Sandra Bambusch, of Salem; grandchildren, Cameron and Gage Holt; R. J. Dustin, Brandon, and Caleb Ingle; Autumn and Alyssa Grissom; Bryan, Brandon, and Brooklyn Knight; Breanna and Hanna Shaw; Marleigh, Mia, and Belle White
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 6 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Mike Hester officiating.
