Alice Lively Keller – Bedford
Alice Lively Keller, 80, of Bedford, passed away at 5:35 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born May 30, 1931 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clyde and Dorothy (Whitted) Lively. She married David Keller on June 18, 1949 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2005.
Survivors include five daughters Patty Dzmura and husband Michael, of Fort Worth, TX., Connie Justus and husband David, of Gilbert, AZ., Ann Jones and husband David, of Bloomington, Mary Todd and husband Dan, of Heltonville, Janet White and husband Mark, of Holly Lake, TX.; six grandchildren: Amy Crow, Ann Simmons, Eric Flinn, Andy Flinn, Jill Garrels and Abby Godsey; twelve great grandchildren; one brother, George Lively, of Linton; her beloved cat, Adji and her dear friend, Betty Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Fred Lively; a sister, Mary Lou Hendricks and a daughter Denise in infancy.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 12th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11th and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Joy Helen Hacker – Bedford
Joy Helen Hacker, 81, of Bedford, passed away at 11:25 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown, Indiana.
Born May 25, 1930 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Everett and Maggie (Craig) Brock. She married Robert C. Hacker on May 31, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1999. She retired from RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Edna Wright and husband Sam, Peggy Doane and husband Jonnie, all of Bedford; one step-daughter Kathy King and husband David, of Bloomington; nine grandchildren, Joy Denise Taylor, William Lewis Howard II, Stacy Doane-Selimer and husband Jim, J.T. Doane, Michael Parker and wife Charity, Larry Parker and wife Louries, Dustin Parker and wife Robin, Micha Parkers and David Turpin; a step-grandson, Ronald Wright; fourteen great grandchildren, Christina Bobbi-Marie Taylor, Braiden Alexis Doane, Kaydence Elizabeth Doane, Addison Grace Doane, Madison Marie Parker, Michela Mae Parker, Cody William Parker, Ashley Nichole Parker, Hannaha Parker, Reed Parker, Hannah and Samantha Turpin, Ashton and Max Thompson; five sisters, Icis Gore and husband James, Sue Cagle and husband Larry, all of Bedford, Jenny Charles and husband Jack, of Avoca, Barbara Southern and husband Larry, Bonnie Lynch and husband Gary, all of Williams; a brother, Roy Lee Brock and wife Regina, of Silverville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Vicki Parker; a granddaughter, Candy Parker; five brothers, Marvin “Mose”, Robert, Fred, Willie and Homer; three sisters, Anna Pearl, Ruby and Sharon Rose.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 13th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Silverville. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 12th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
