Marjoria F. Martin – Mitchell
Marjoria F. Martin, 81, of Mitchell, passed away at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Born March 26, 1930, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Henry and Ophia (Tincher) Hunsucker. She married Robert Wayne Martin January 26, 1947, and he preceded her in death February 12, 2007.
She had been employed Green’s Drive In, Noe’s Chicken House and the Red Rooster. Marge was a member of Bono United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons, Robert Michael Martin, Mitchell, Gary Lee Martin, Mitchell, daughter, Tammy J. Jones, Mitchell, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren
Her parents; husband; grandson, Adam Martin; half-brother, Charles Hedrick; and half-sister, Geneva, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, January 29, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Clark officiating. Burial will be in Talbott Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Saturday and from noon until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Robert Norman – Oolitic
Robert Norman, 82, of Oolitic, passed away at 4:31 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 12, 1929 in Heltonville, he was the son of Earl and Eva (Sowders) Norman. He was a physical education and health teacher in Oolitic and of the Protestant faith. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling, music and his family.
Survivors include his life-long companion June Yeskie, of Bedford; three sons William, Troy and Pat Yeskie; a special buddy, Matthew Yeskie; three brothers, Junior Norman, Larry Norman wife Brenda, all of Heltonville; Keith Norman wife Joyce, of Conroe, TX.; three sisters, Helen Richardson of Unionville, Joan Bailey and Colleen Perry, both of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roy, Harold, Dale, Paul; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 28th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Meadows Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Norma R. Maze – Bedford
Norma R. Maze, 76, of Bedford passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born July 20, 1935 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Leslie and Goldie (Trusty) Taylor. She married Robert Maze on November 1, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1984. She retired as an assembler for RCA in Bloomington.
Survivors include one son, Robert Maze, of Maryland; three grandsons, Michael Maze, Ben and Andrew Cross; a sister Helen Turner, of Florida; several nieces and nephews including Lanny Blanton and wife Sonja, of Bedford and Brian Jones and wife Cathy of Lake Station, with whom she was especially close.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, June Jones and Virginia Bough; one brother Adrian Taylor.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Reno Bates officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, January 27th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
