June K. Yeskie – Bedford
June K. Yeskie, 84, of Bedford, passed away at 6:03 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born June 22, 1927 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Mike and Mammie (Kelley) Soeder. She retired from LARC and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include three sons, William Yeskie and wife Rose, Troy Yeskie and wife Francez, Pat Yeskie and wife Sheryl; grandchildren, Mathew, William, Christopher, David, Andrew, Amanda, Jeremy, Mateo and T.J.; great grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Aiden, Austin, Jackson, and Chandler; two sisters, Rochelle Lents and Mary Ann Krodel; one brother, Ray Soeder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents, her life-long companion Robert Norman and several brothers and sisters.
To honor her wishes, private funeral services are planned. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. No calling hours are scheduled.

Ronald J. Stovall – Bedford
Ronald J. Stovall, 78, of Bedford, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 8th at White River Lodge.
He was born on July 19 1933 in Evansville to Pharl and Mildred Stovall. He was a graduate of Evansville Bosse High School in 1951. He married Linda Sue in 1969 and divorced in 1982.
Ron briefly attended college before joining the Army in 1953. He served in Japan as a Microwave Radio Repairman until being honorably discharged in 1955. He returned to college and received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering in 1959.
Ron worked as an electrical engineer for what is now Naval Surface Welfare Center Crane, retiring in 1988 with 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his adolescent brother, Pharl Stovall Jr. followed by his father and mother. There are no surviving relatives.
Ron enjoyed flying, radio-controlled boats and tinkering with electronic devices in his basement laboratory. He will be most remembered, however for his love of tennis, his contributions to the sport locally as director of the Bedford Tennis Club and his many years as assistant boy’s and girl’s tennis coach at Bedford North Lawrence High School.
He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he generously touched.
Home Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Ferguson Lee Funeral Home.

Lois G. Lane – Bedford
Lois G. Lane, 85, of Bedford, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at White River Lodge Nursing Facility. Born April 29, 1926 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Stella (Cooper) Beasley. She married Herschel L. Lane on August 26, 1944 and he preceded her in death. Lois retired from Westinghouse.
Survivors include three sons, Michael Lane, of Bedford, James Lane, of Bedford and Jerry Lane, of Mitchell; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Tincher, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Lane; one grandson, Brian Lane; four brothers, Raymond Beasley, Clyde Beasley, Opal Beasley and Morris Beasley; and seven sisters, Bessie Swift, Edna Jackson, Ada Watson, Ruby Roberts, Frances Meadows, Nellie Jones, and Dorothy Beasley.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14th at Cresthaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the care of Day & Carter Mortuary.

Margueritte J. Bowden – Bedford
Margueritte Bowden, 67, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at White River Lodge Nursing Facility.
Born November 18, 1944, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of James Earl and Imogene E. (Hosapple) Wilson. Margueritte was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Ellen Staggs and husband Gene, of Bedford; one son, Wayne Bowden of Bedford; two granddaughters, Amy Wolfe and husband Brian, of Bedford, and Lorie Hammond, of Bedford; two grandsons, Tommy Benham, of Bedford and Tyler Staggs, of Bedford; two great grandsons, Bryce Wolfe, of Bedford, and Carson Hammond, of Bedford; two sisters, Gayle Kesterson and husband Matt, of Mitchell and Rita Phillips and husband Jake, of Mitchell, and one brother James Earl Wilson II, of Paoli.
She was preceded in death by her parents a granddaughter, Vanessa Benham and a sister Sonia Wilson.
Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Day & Carter Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to 2108 F Street in Bedford to assist in the purchase of a monument
