John C. Farmer – Springville
John C. Farmer, 67, of Springville, passed away at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born on April 30, 1945 in Glendale, California, he was the son of Carlyle and Lois (Mitchell) Farmer.
He was dedicated maintenance man and jack-of-all trades. He was loved dearly by all of his neighbors. His garage always had one of the neighborhood vehicles in it. He was a member of Life Tabernacle in Springville and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his sister, Sandra and husband Mike Leon, of Springville; four nephews, Timothy Sprague, of Norman, Neal and wife Amy Sprague, of Norman, Shawn Sprague, of Indianapolis, Michael and wife Drea, of Sacramento, California; two nieces, Bethany and husband Lee Holliday, of Indianapolis, Tina and husband Randy Barrow, of Indianapolis; and some great neighbors that he considered family.
Graveside service will be on Saturday, March 10th at 2 p.m. at Springville Christian Cemetery with Pastor Douglas Kelley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Robert “Bob” Wagner – Louisville
Robert “Bob” Wagner, 83, of Louisville, Kentucky, and formerly of Bedford, passed away at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Meadow View Health Center in Louisville.
Born February 4, 1929 in Silverville, he was the son of Walter A. and Iva M. (Hackler) Wagner. He married Doris Williams on February 12, 1950 and she survives. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Bedford. Bob retired as a sales representative and enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his wife Doris, of Louisville; one son, John Frederick Wagner and wife Susie, of Lancaster, California; one daughter, Beth Ann Warren and husband Joel, of Louisville; two brothers, Ray Wagner and wife Norma, of Bedford and Gilbert “Gib” Wagner and wife Betty, of Williams; three grandchildren, Garret McGill and wife Kasey, Mitchell McGill and wife Erin and Shayna McGill, all of Louisville; two great grandchildren, Chandler McGill and Moira McGill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Carmella Wagner; two sisters, Joy Helen Smith and Wanda Mae Wagner.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Mike Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Silverville Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the time of service of 1 p.m. on Saturday, at Day & Carter Mortuary.
