The following obituaries were received for Tuesday –


William J. Henderson – Williams
William J. Henderson, 84, of Willliams, passed away at 10:39 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2010 at Garden Villa.
Born October 3, 1927 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Jeff and Zelphia (Coulter) Henderson. He married Mabel L. Kern on April 14, 1945 and she survives. He was a member of the Old Union Christian Church. He worked hard all his life to provide the best he could for his family, finally retiring from Indiana Limestone in 1986. He then continued to work at home, taking special pride in his extraordinary vegetable gardens and was referred to by his friends as “the tomato man.”
Survivors include his wife, Mabel, of Bedford; two sons, Joel Henderson, of Williams and Tom Henderson, of Bedford; one daughter, Joyce Burns and husband Bill, of Williams; eight grandchildren, Kevin Henderson and wife Shelly, Jodi Henderson, Bridget Adams, Josh Henderson, Dusty Henderson, Jamie Henderson and wife Devin, Bailey Burns and Bridget Burns; seven great grandchildren, Haley, Joey, Alex, Mackenzie, Traleigh, Cailey and Nick; one sister, Phyliss; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Leo, Leroy, Denny, Wilbur and one in infancy; one sister Lela.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Billy Don Baker – Bloomfield
Billy Don Baker, 42, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
Born April 26, 1969 in Greene County, he was the son of Lonnis and Janet (Martindale) Baker. He married Lisa O’Keefe on September 8, 1996 and she survives.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa, of Bloomfield; his mother, Janet Baker, of Springville; two brothers, Larry Baker and Lonnie Baker, both of Springville; two sisters, Bobbie Chambers, of Springville and Lesa Sanders, of Solsberry; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Jimmy Baker.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8p.m. on Wednesday, March 14th at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Rebecca C. Probasco – Bedford

Rebecca C. Probasco, 64, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 4 a.m. at her home.
Born on May 12, 1947 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Connors and Betty (Slinkard) Connors.
She was married to Ronnie Probasco for 27 years. She was a 1965 graduate of North Central High School, in Indianapolis, and a graduate of the Cosmetology School of Indianapolis. She was a retired beauty salon owner and beautician, having worked at various salons throughout her career. She attended Fayetteville Baptist Church for many years and was a member of the Shawswick Alumni Group. Rebecca was a true country girl who enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing at Kenray Lake and crafting. She also loves her grandchildren dearly.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Danette Payton of Bedford and Tess and her husband Wesley Tipton, of Bedford; two sisters, Deanna and husband David Buck, of Indianapolis; Barbara and husband Kevin Wayman, of Indianapolis; one brother, William and wife Linda Connors II, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Josie Mollet, Jesslyn Mollet, Braydon Tipton and Haley Tipton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor Kenny Walden officiating. Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kyle David Huber – Bedford
Kyle David Huber, 35, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 1:30 a.m. at his home.
Born June 4, 1976 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Richard Huber, M.D. and Janet (Piper) Huber.
He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and was employed as an iron worker in the construction industry. He was a member of the First Church of God and played the drums in the church’s Praise Team.
Survivors include his parents, one sister, Kristi Huber, of Ellettsville, two sons Tyler and Kaden Huber, of Bedford, aunts and uncles, including Keith and Janet Huber, of St. Paul and several cousins.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at the First Church of God with calling at the church from 10 a.m. until the service. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.

Carmen J. Crawford – Columbus
Carmen J. Crawford, 76, of Columbus, died at 11:37 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Carmen was born in Lawrence County on December 15, 1935 to the late Thomas and Elva Goldena Goodman Stafford. She married Howard Wayne Crawford on November 24, 1955 in Pinhook Christian Church and he survives.
Survivors include her husband Howard Crawford; daughters Mechael and husband Gary Charbonneau, of Bloomington, Nichole and husband Danny Hollander, of Nashville; grandchildren, John Gage, Jessica Gago, Abigail Hollander, Aubrey Hollander, sister Deanna Beth Moore, of Bedford and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Amaryliss Dawn Flynn and Maribelle Kast.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford with John Sichting officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver and Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street in Columbus. Burial will be at Pinhook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana.
