Becky Marie Sparks – Bedford
Becky Marie Sparks, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 2:55 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at IU Health Hospital Bloomington.
Born May 1, 1948 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of William and May (Ingle) Alexander. She was a caregiver.
Survivors include a son, C. Bryan Baxter, of Bedford, a daughter, Shana Davis, of Bedford.
No service or visitation is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Carter Mortuary.
Sheila Rae (Decker) Johnson – Orleans
Sheila Rae (Decker) Johnson, 80, of Orleans, passed away at 8:26 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at her home.
Born December 20, 1931, in Pike County, she was the daughter of Oval and Oma (Henson) Decker. She married Thomas Johnson July 24, 1947. Sheila was a homemaker, and past worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star in Richmond.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Johnson, of Orleans; son, Keith Edward Johnson, of Mitchell; 3 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Roberson, of Cutler; Norma Jean Willis, of Noblesville; brother, Allen Decker, of Cutler.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Trenda Kaye Blagg.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, May 4, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. Dr. O. W. Willis and Rev. Aaron Willis officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Williams Cemetery in Pike County.
Friends may call from noon until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
