Richard D. Pritchett – Judah
Richard D. Pritchett, 85, of Judah, passed away at 4:29 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 22, 1927, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Clifford Joe and Mabel (Harden) Pritchett. He married Sylvia Baker on October 28, 1950, and she survives.
Richard was the original co-founder of Pritchett Brothers Construction with his brother, Charles. He was a founding member and past president of Lawrence County Home Builders Association, a member of Shriner’s International, a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge No. 14, F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy.
He loved watching sports, especially those in which his grandchildren participated, spending time with his family, and traveling the world with his wife. He enjoyed being outside working in his yard and was proud of his community. He had many friends he enjoyed.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of Judah; five sons, Ronald D. Pritchett and wife Donna Jo, Joe Pritchett and wife Lisa, Scott Pritchett and wife Donna Jean, Ed Pritchett and wife Kelli and Jon Pritchett and wife Mary all of Judah; 11 grandchildren, Camila and Nicole Pritchett, Shelby, Emily and Zane Pritchett, Mallory and Hannah Pritchett, Derek and Kayla Pritchett and Taylor and Alex Pritchett; two brothers, Charles Pritchett of Bedford and Earl Pritchett of Judah; three sisters, Grace McDonald of Bedford, Louella Meadows of Judah and Joann McCain of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Joanna L. Casada – Bedford
Joanna L. Casada, 86, of Bedford, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born May 1, 1926 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary (Asdell) Tincher. She married William Casada and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two brothers, Sam Tincher and wife Dorothy, of Springville, Charles Tincher and wife Edith, of Bedford; four sisters, Mary Turpin, Patsy Gilliland, Sue Harris and Linda and husband Bucky Charles, all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William; an infant at birth; two brothers, Edward L. and Jessie Eugene Tincher; one sister, Sarah Cox.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th at Hopkins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7th at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Franklin D. Daulton – Fort Ritner

Franklin D. Daulton, 79, of Fort Ritner, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11:45 p.m. at his home.
Born December 13, 1932 in Sparksville, he was the son of John and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Daulton. He married Frances Mae Beavers and she survives. He was employed with Carlisle in Bloomington for several years and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Mae Daulton, of Fort Ritner; one daughter, Cindy Hunter, of Bedford; one son-in-law, Mike Tomey, of Bedford; six grandchildren, John and wife Kayla Hunter, of Bedford, Michael Daulton, of Bedford, Christina Tomey, of Leesville, Jason Hunter, of Bedford, Michael and wife Barbara Tomey, of Heltonville and Matthew and wife Cortney Tomey, of Leesville; five great grandchildren; one brother, Russell Daulton, of Bedford, five sisters-in law, Pearl Wright, of Medora, Mildred Gilley, of Indianapolis, Lulabelle Wolka, of Vallonia, Mary and husband Duane Foster, of Crothersville and Ruth and husband Don Silverman, of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his children, Beth A. Tomey and Michael R. Daulton, four brothers, Robert, Ralph, Richard and Raymond Daulton and one sister Virginia Darkes.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery with military rites accorded by the American Legion Gillen Post 33.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Regina Ann Briscoe – Mitchell
Regina Ann Briscoe, 43, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012, at her home.
Born August 29, 1968 in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Wilbur E. and Regenia (Brown) Briscoe Stroud. She had been employed as a paralegal and bailiff for the Lawrence County Courts. She was a member of the Jacob Finger United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa. Regina graduated from Mitchell High School in 1986 and Ball State University in 1992.
Survivors include her mother, Regenia Stroud,of Mitchell; father, Wilbur Briscoe, of Bedford; sisters, Allison Dee and husband Mike Goble, of Columbus; Margi and husband Larry Scharborough, of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, John Robert and wife Katherine Stroud, of Bedford; Craig Stroud, of Mitchell; several beloved nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Mayor Gary Pruett officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
