Poter Troxel – Mitchell
Porter Troxel, 82, of Mitchell, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born August 4, 1930, in Oolitic, he was the son of William and Ella (Boruff) Troxel. He married Christena June Pridemore February 16, 1957. Porter retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center–Crane and was owner of the Copy Shop for ten years. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Christena Troxel, of Mitchell; daughters, Tammie Wray and husband Eddie, of Bedford, Robin Nuzum, of Bloomington; grandchildren, Billy, Jeremy, and Bobby Jo
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Forest Troxel, Boyd Troxel, and Freeman Troxel; and sister, Ruth Tolliver.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, at Mitchell Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Allen officiating. There will be no visitation.

Juanita Quillen – Bedford
Juanita Quillen, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Westview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Arrangements are pending at Day & Carter Mortuary.
