Donnie Eugene Martin – Heltonville
Donnie Eugene Martin, 68, of Heltonville, passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at his residence.
Born November 11, 1944 in Monroe Co., he was the son of Perry and Leona (Smith) Martin. He married Nancy L. Eads on June 8, 1963 and she survives. He was a blacksmith and a toolmaker retiring from Bedford Limestone Suppliers. He was a member of the Bartlettsville Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Heltonville; a son, Eugene Martin and wife, Contrina of Heltonville; a daughter, Tracy White and husband, Darren of Bedford; five grandchildren, Jessica Turner, Kelsey Martin, Isaac Martin, Sarah Taylor and Emily White; two sisters, Rose Moore and husband, Dale of Bloomington and Ferunda Smith of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Loniel, Dean and Bill Martin; three sisters, Maxine Martin, Kathleen Deckard and Beulah Martin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Monday, November 19th at the Bartlettsville Christian Church with Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, November 18th at the Day & Carter Mortuary

Mildred Marie Daughrity – Mitchell
Mildred Marie Daughrity, 89, of Mitchell, passed away at 9:13 a.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at her home.
Born January 29, 1923, in Campbellsburg, she was the daughter of Walter and Hazel
(Pennington) Walton. She married Clifford Henry Daughrity January 29, 1993. She was a nurse’s aide and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Daughrity, of Mitchell; children, Sherry Lynn McPherson, of Gardner, Illinois, David Alan McPherson and wife Cindy, of Phoenix, Arizona, Debbie Kay and husband Junior Flores, of Pontiac, Illinois, Linda Sue and husband Kenneth Corey, of Martinsville, Judy Carol and husband Richard Nocus, of Martinsville, Morris Lee McPherson and wife Rita Kay, of Elwood, Illinois; stepchildren, Vicky Jean Porter, of Florida, Shane Alan Daughrity, of Jasper; several grand, great, and great great grandchildren, sister, Margie Hampton, of Campbellsburg
She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Richard Mancel McPherson, Donna Jean Hackney, Ronnie Duane McPherson, Larry Keith McPherson, and Billy Wayne McPherson; and siblings, Betty Green, Gayle Brewer, and Art Walton.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 19, in the Memorial Chapel of
Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
