Lovie R. Cook – Bedford
Lovie R. Cook, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her residence.
Born May 8, 1949 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Baldwin) Tincher. She married Harry Cook on September 17, 1966 and he survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Harry, of Bedford; two daughters, Judy Ann Banks and husband, Tim of Buddha and Beverly Sue Wade and husband, Gary of Williams; two sons, James Earl Cook and Bobby Cook and wife, Carrie all of Bedford; five grandsons, Bryan Banks of South Carolina, Nathaniel and Zachariah Banks of Buddha, Stephen Davis of California and Jayden Cook of Bedford; a granddaughter, Brittany Davis, of Williams; two brothers, Jim Tincher and wife, Diane of Shoals and Donnie Tincher and wife, Ivy of Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Raymond Tincher, Jr. and Robbie Tincher; a sister, Margaret Todd.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sherman Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

George T. Chastain – Orleans
George T. Chastain, 88, of the Leipsic Community, passed away at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at his home.
Born April 1, 1924, in Orange County, he was the son of Lawrence William and Bertha Jane (Taylor) Chastain. He married Luella E. Crane November 25, 1948, and she preceded him in death January 26, 2009.
George was owner of Chastain’s TV Sales and Service and had been in business 60 years. He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his children, Brenda Sue and husband Jeff Shepple, of Greenwood,
Barry Lee Chastain, of Leipsic, Roger Wayne Chastain and wife Tonya, of Mitchell;
grandsons, Andrew, Ben, Nathan, and Daniel Shepple; 1 great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and sister, Velma Louise Chastain.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Livonia Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
