Roger Dean Weaver, Sr. – Mitchell
Roger Dean Weaver, Sr., 62, of Mitchell, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2012, at 1:55 p.m. at his home.
Born November 15, 1950 in Spring Bay, Illinois, he was the son of Leo Weaver, Sr. and Emily Elizabeth (Green) Weaver. He married Doris L. Root on July 10, 1996, and she survives. He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Doris L. Weaver, of Mitchell; daughter, Elizabeth Jane (Weaver)
Robbins and husband, Thomas, of Mitchell; grandchild, Thomas Loren Robbins, Jr.; two
brothers, Glen Weaver and wife Karen and Donnie Weaver; one half-brother, Charles Weaver; eight sisters, Linda Kendrick, Margaret Evans and husband Thomas, Debbie George and husband Jerry, Sharon Barrett and husband Tony, Marie Meredith and husband Floyd, Mary Roy, Carol Smith and husband Ron, and Pam Henry and husband Joe; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Roger Dean Weaver, Jr.; three brothers, Randy, Leo “Sony”, and Ronnie.
Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
