Agnes Earl – Bedford
Agnes Earl, 92, of Bedford, passed away at 12:25 am on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at her home.
Born March 17, 1920, she was the daughter of Henry and Lela (Fox) Tincher. She married Frank Earl and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of the Englewood Baptist Church. She loved her family and was kind, caring and a great cook.
Survivors include a son, Tony Earl and wife, Janice of Springville; a daughter, Debra
Earl of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Nathan, Joshua, Adam and Chad
Earl, Jeff and Dave Eicle; several great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Nona and
Joan Tincher; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Roxie Eggers; three brothers, Joe, Paul and Ermal Tincher; a sister-in-law, Pauline Dorsett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, January 18th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Friday, January 18th at the mortuary.
Pallbearers are: Adam, Chad and Anthony Earl, Robbie Davis, Bill, David and Ted
Eggers.

Saundra “Sandi” Shockley – Bedford
Saundra “Sandi” Shockley, 72, of Bedford, passed at 6:05 pm on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Waters of Martinsville.
Born January 9, 1941 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Arthur and Sarah (Steward) Kern. She was retired and attended the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Arthur Kern of Gosport; three nephews, Lonnie and Robert
Kern of Martinsville and Jeffery Scott Calvert of Greenwood; four nieces, Mindy Collier of
Gosport, Sheryl Kingston of Paoli, Connie Norris and Chris Wampler; a cherished loved one, Denise Domagolik of Indianapolis; the Kern family of Bedford; several extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Diana Kay Kern.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, January 16th at Beech Grove Cemetery with Shannon Benham officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 1 pm to 1:45 pm on Wednesday, January 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Wesley Chapel Church.
