Walter L. Jenkins, 64, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 12:15 pm at Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on June 18, 1948 in New Albany to Hugh Howard Jenkins, Sr & Millie Avondale (Watts) Jenkins, He married Susan M. (Goldsby) Jenkins on January 18, 1975 in Bedford and she survives. Walter was a Graduate of New Albany High School in 1969, an US Army Veteran, he retired from Rainbo Baking Company in Louisville, Kentucky, Walter was a member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church, & the VFW
Survivors include his wife, Susan M. Jenkins, of Bedford; children: Shannon L. Smith, of Germany, Jamie M. Petri, of Sellersburg and Paul W. Jenkins, of Clarksville; grandchildren; Mackenzie M. Petri, Gabriel J. Petri, Jacob T. Smith and Hannah E. Smith; one brother; Guy W. Jenkins, of Clarksville
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Paul W. Jenkins, Roger H. Jenkins and Hugh H. Jenkins, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday February 19, 2013 at 11 am at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Friends may call on Monday February 18, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm
at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens
Elvira Kuczor – Mitchell
Elvira Kuczor, 89, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Mitchell Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Jack Earl – Mitchell
Jack Earl, 73, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at White River Lodge.

Pollyanne Jones – Mitchell
Pollyanne Jones, 25, of Mitchell passed away at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at her home.
Born April 3, 1987, in Louisville, Kentucky, she is the daughter of George T. and Lori (Greene) Boone. She married Joseph W. Jones May 15, 2009. Pollyanne was a homemaker. She graduated in 2005 from Madison Consolidated High School and was pursuing an associate degree in psychology from Ivy Tech.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph W. Jones, of Mitchell; sons, Tyler Joseph Jones, at home; Thomas Johnson Lunsford, at home; father and his companion, George T. Boone and Rita Elliott, of Bedford; brothers, Brian Manning, of Charlestown and Johnny Manning, of Borden; grandparents, Dorothy Louise and Ralph Sosh, of South Boston; aunt, Jennifer Farley, of Mitchell; uncles, Darrell Boone, of Mitchell; Michael Boone, of Michigan City
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Boone.
Funeral service will be at 1p.m. Saturday, February 16, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Rev. Charles Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
