Phillip Wayne Adams – Bedford
Phillip Wayne Adams, 72, of Bedford, passed away at 6:30 pm on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born June 26, 1940 in Lincoln County, KY he was the son of John H. and Lillie M (Pemberton) Adams. He married Hazel L. Guthrie on October 27, 1961 and she survives. He retired from CSX Railroad. He attended Hillcrest Christian Church, was a life
member of the United Transportation Union and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel, of Bedford; one daughter: Sheila Myers and her husband Randy, of Fayeteville; one son: David W. Adams, of Bedford; two sisters: Jewell Baker of Oolitic, and Verla J. Winnings, of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Julia Hicks and Marcia Hirtz.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Monday, March 4th 2013 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Visitation will be from 1 pm until the hour of service on Monday, March 4th 2013 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Stacie Renee (Bouffanie) Clark – Bedford
Bedford-Stacie Renee (Bouffanie) Clark, 37, of Bedford, passed away at 6:48 am on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born July 24, 1975 in Houston, TX she was the daughter of Randy Bouffanie and Deborah (Nikirk) Underwood. She worked as a cosmetologist.
Survivors include: three sons: Gavin M. English, Gaige M. English, of Bedford, and Garret M. Clark of Moberly, Missouri; her mother and stepfather, Deborah and Jim Underwood, of Springville, her father, Randy Bouffanie, of Youngsville, Louisiana; step mother, Pamela Bouffanie, of Carencro, Louisiana; three brothers, Chad Underwood, of Whiteland, Benjamin Underwood, of Bloomington, and Jesse Romero ,of Carencro, Louisiana; two sisters: Miranda Bouffanie of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Britney (Bouffanie) Veron, of Scott, Louisiana; grandmother Sherry Underwood, of Bedford; one niece: Baiha Veron, of Scott, Louisiana; and one nephew Gunner Veron, of Scott, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her sister Angelique Bouffanie, and her grandparents: Walter Nikirk, Anna Lee Nikirk Hall, Lester Hall, Walter Underwood, Earline Hunter Bouffanie and Norman Bouffanie.
A Memorial service will be conducted at 7 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Visitation and Celebration of Life will be from 4 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the fund set up at Hoosier Hills Credit Union to benefit her three sons.

Juanita M. Callahan – Bedford
Juanita M. Callahan, 88, of Bedford, passed away at 12:42 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at IU Health Bedford.
Born April 13, 1924 in Mitchell, Indiana, she was the daughter of Vernon C. and Eva S. (Carroll) Arnold. She married William R. Callahan on January 17, 1945 and he passed away March 25, 1953. She was employed by RCA and Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington before retiring. She was a past member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. Juanita was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved traveling, being with her siblings and was an avid Bingo player.
Survivors include her two sons, Terry L.Callahan , of Avon and Dan B. Callahan and wife, Melissa, of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Derek Wilson, of Franklin, Tricia and husband Jason Garcia, of Franklin, and Troy and wife Roxane, of Paragon; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Doris Pierce and Edna Lucille Swigler, both of Bedford; two brothers, Dale Arnold and John Arnold, both of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Frank Arnold.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at noon at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim McDowell officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 9 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
