Ruth J.(Sipes) Cazee
Ruth J. (Sipes) Cazee, 83, of Bedford, died at 4:15 pm on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Johnson’s Christian Village in Fayetteville.
Born November 9, 1930 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Everett E. and Winnie Lorraine (Bridges) Sipes. She married Charles Cazee on July 15, 1950 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2010. She retired in 1992 after working as a medical assistant for thirty-nine years. She was employed by Dr. Donald M. Kerr from 1952-1987 and later worked for Dr. Bruce and Dr. Guy Waldo until her retirement. She attended the Free Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include a niece, Sheri Zuker and husband, Larry of Evanston, IL; a nephew, Tony Sipes of Bloomington and several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, David R.Cazee; a brother, Robert Sipes; four half-brothers, Paul, Ralph, Clyde and Everett Sipes; a half-sister, Marie Sipes Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday, April 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor John Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service on Friday, April 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to Johnson’s Christian Village.

Helen L. Reynolds – Bedford
Helen L. Reynolds, 89, of Bedford, died at 4:20 am on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born March 1, 1924 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Clarence and Pearl (Peyton) McCain. She married James L. Reynolds on July 24, 1942 and he preceded her in death. She graduated from Shawswick High School with the class of 1942. She was a meat cutter for the Kroger Co. and was a member of the Englewood Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid quilter and loved to crochet.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzan Maddox and husband, Ronnie of Bedford, Dian Miller and husband, Darrell of Shepherdsville, KY; two step-grandchilden, Dana Dolan and Michael Miller both of Shepherdsville, KY; a granddaughter-in-law Debbie Terrell of Bedford;one great granddaughter, Samantha Terrell; three step great grandchildren, Makenzie Miller, Callon and Clayton Willett of Shepherdsville, KY; a sister, Barbara Payton of Bedford; two brothers, Bob McCain of Bedford and Kenneth McCain of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Chris (Big Chris) Terrell; three sisters, Frances Turpin, Marie Jackson and Ruth Rainey; two brothers, Paul and Ernest McCain.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, April 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, April 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
