Bobbie L. Adams – Bedford
Bobbie L. Adams, 74, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday May 27, 2013 at the Waters in Martinsville.
He was born March 18, 1939 in Rome, Georgia to John W. & Dorthy A. (Pullen) Adams, he married Jan C. Adams on March 19, 1965 in Lakeland, Florida and she preceded him in death on April 14, 2009. Bobbie graduated from Pinecrest High School in Florida. He retired from the Houston, Texas Teamster’s and also was a photographer for Olan Mills. Bobbie was an US Army Veteran, serving with 101 Airborne.
Survivors include his son, John Adams and wife Carol, of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Michel “Shelly” Ratkovich and husband Moe, of Bedford; two sisters, Willine Colding and husband Elton, of Rome, Ga., Judy Underwood and husband Jimmy, of Plant City, Fl; grandchildren, Gemma, Kayleigh, Lucy, Shelly, Mark; great grandchildren, Allissa and Makayla; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Funeral Services at 6:30 pm on Thursday May 30, 2013 at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Thursday May 30, 2013 at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Cremation will follow funeral services.
A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following funeral services at Shelly and Moe Ratkovich’s home.
John D. Caldwell – Bedford
John D. Caldwell age 56 of Bedford, passed away on Sunday May 26, 2013 at 11:27 am at St. Vincent-Dunn Hospital in Bedford.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday May 31, 2013 from 1pm until 4 pm at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
