Hazel Todd Clark
Hazel Todd Clark, 99 of Anderson, passed away on Friday.
She was born on Sept. 5, 1913, in Lawrence County, and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Garden Club in Anderson.
Hazel is survived by her niece, Merilynn Williams (Jim) Mitchell of Bloomington; two great-nephews, James Williams Jr. (Kimberly) and Robert Williams (Melissa); three great-great-nephews; two great-great nieces; special friend, Teena Freeman; and devoted caregiver, Gloria Simison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married Dec. 28, 1941, Gleanard O. Clark; mother, Cora Todd; father, James Elmer Todd; and her sister, Helen Todd Beard.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St., Anderson.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Mathys and the Rev. Reed Beard officiating.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Bart H. Dye
Bart H. Dye, 75, Shoals, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born in Martin County, Ind. on Jan. 27, 1938, to George and Naomi Ruth (Baker) Dye. He married Erma Lowery-Dye on March 5, 2008, in Lawrence County.
Bart was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired after 18 years of service to the United States Air Force. He worked as a salesman and greatly enjoyed farming. He was an avid genealogist and had an extensive collection of family history. He was a member of the White River Masonic Lodge No. 332 F&AM and Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rites.
He is survived his wife, Erma, of Shoals; two sons, Bret Dye of Franklin, Tenn. and John Richard Dye of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, Danielle Dye, Michaila Dye, Gabrielle Dye, Sarah Lowery, John Lowery, Gabriel Dixon, Keagan Mathews and Kyndall Mathews; a stepson, Nathan Lowery of Bedford, and a stepdaughter, Kara Mathews of Oolitic.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. White River Masonic Lodge No. 332 F&AM will conduct a memorial service prior to the service. Friends may call after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Spring Hill Cemetery. Shoals American Legion Post No. 61 will accord military graveside rites.

Monte Ray Gilstrap, 61, Salem, died Friday at his residence. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home in Salem. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
