Marilyn Rose Robertson – Paoli
Marilyn Rose Robertson, 80, formerly of Orleans, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2013, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.
Born May 2, 1933, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Carl Norman and Cleta Edyth (Pridemore) Chatham. She married Carl Wayne Robertson June 22, 1949, and he preceded her in death April 15, 2009.
Marilyn retired from Simmons Company and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Danny Blane Robertson and wife Rebecca, Freetown, Lynn Johnson, Bedford and friend, David Huber, Columbus, Kimberly Scott and husband Gerald, Orleans; 6 grandchildren;10 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Brinkworth, Mitchell, Carole Graham, Mitchell, Janice Hayes, Salem, Margaret Williams, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Denny; brother, Wilbur Dale Chatham; and sisters, Jean Boone and Joyce Conley.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, August 12, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Ian McMillan and Rev. Bill Graham officiating. A private family burial will be at a later date in Mount Pleasant Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until the service on Monday at the church.
