Alberta F. Chenault – Bedford
Alberta F. Chenault, 92, of Bedford, passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at 8:43 a.m. at Johnson Christian Village.
Alberta was born in Orange County on September 18, 1920 to Cecil and Elma (Herthel) Limeberry. She was graduate of Mitchell High School class of 1938, she was employed at Reliance Manufactoring in Mitchell & Sarkes Tarzain in Bloomington, she attended Calvary Chapel Church in Bedford. Alberta married Ira D. (Chig) Chenault on March 10, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 2008
Survivors include two sons; Phillip Chenault and wife Eva, of Morgantown, Ronald Chenault and wife Ginny, of Rocky Valley, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lela Howell of Mitchell, Betty Meadows of Mitchell and Bonnie Eager of Mitchell.
Alberta was preceded in death by her husband of 60 Years Ira (Chig) Chenault, her parents, a twin brother and sister, sister, Vivian Limeberry Godfrey.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday August 19, 2013 at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens
Dennis S. “Tiny” Henderson
Dennis S. “Tiny” Henderson, 56, of Bedford, formerly of Tunnelton, passed away at 1:41 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2013, at IU Health Bedford.
Born April 21, 1957 in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Donald and Nancy (Payton) Henderson.
He married Irene Mitchell on August 15, 1980; and she survives.
He was employed at Visteon until 2008 as an assembly worker, and he also worked at George’s Gateway. He was also an avid bowler. He was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, Class of 1975.
Surviving are his wife, Irene (Mitchell) Henderson of Bedford; his mother, Nancy Henderson of Buddha; two sons, Nicholas Henderson of Greenwood and Tyler Henderson of Bedford; one brother Michael Henderson and wife Beverly of Greencastle, IN; one uncle, Floy Payton and wife Melissa of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Henderson; and one nephew, Shawn Henderson.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral home, with Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Tunnelton Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, August 19, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
