Greg Waggoner – Mitchell
Greg Waggoner, 48, of Mitchell, died on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born December 26, 1964 in Seymour, IN, he is the son of Wayne and Beverly (Emily) Waggoner. He married Tina Vollrath on November 28, 1992 and she survives. He was an electrical engineer at Crane for 25 years. He graduated in 1983 from Seymour High School and in 1987 from Purdue University. He was a member of Avoca Baptist Church. He loved his children, fantasy football, baseball, gardening and pitching horseshoes with his father.
Surviving with his wife Tina, of Mitchell; are two sons, Curtis Waggoner and Kyle Waggoner of Mitchell; two brothers, Jeff Waggoner and wife Amy of North Vernon and Matt Waggoner and wife Tracey of Garrison, North Dakota, his parents of Seymour, IN, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, father and mother-in-law, Tom and Sarah Vollrath of Marysville, OH.
He was preceded in death by his, grandparents, Cleve and Thelma Emily and Nellie and Glenn Waggoner, his uncles, J.B. and Gary Emily.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Avoca Baptist Church with Pastor Kyle Witmer officiating. Visitation will be from 4 pm – 7 on Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Avoca Baptist Church Family Life Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The Avoca Baptist Mission Fund or the charity of your choice.
