Penny J. Louden – Bedford
Penny J. Louden, 57, of Bedford, passed away at 4:29 p.m. on October 20, 2013 at IU- Health Bedford.
Born August 14, 1956 in Bedford, IN, she raised by her Paternal Grandparents, John Wesley McGill and Laura Sease-McGill and her uncle, Leo McGill and aunt, Evabelle Gassaway. She married Steven Louden on September 12, 1974; and he survives. She was a homemaker. A member of the Springville Methodist Church and was a former 4-H Leader.
Surviving are her husband of Bedford; one son, Steve Louden and wife Charity of Oolitic; one daughter, Tanalee and husband Shane Chapman of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Emmalee and Haleigh Louden of Oolitic and Gavin and Maddox Chapman of Bloomington; one foster son, Alvin (Jaimee) Strunk; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceeded in death by her paternal grandparents, uncle and aunt, Leo McGill and Evabelle Gassaway, that raised her; one cousin, Leo Gassaway.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Giggy and Pastor Michael Sargent officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
