Anita L. Asbery – Bedford
Anita L. Asbery, 52, of Bedford, passed away on November 15, 2013, at her residence.
Born March 16, 1961, in Bedford, Indiana, she is the daughter of Woodrow and Mary (Daugherty) Cassidy.
She married Richard Asbery on January 29, 1993; and he survives.
She was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, and she was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Asbery, of Bedford; her mother, Mary Cassidy, of Bedford; one sister, Teresa (Moe) Keith, of Bedford; one brother William J. (Patty) Cassidy, of Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father; daughter, Lisa Cassidy; two sisters, Rita Lane and Carla Adams; and one brother, Michael Cassidy.

Nicholas B. Hampton – Jefferson City, MO
Nicholas B. Hampton, 33, of Jefferson City, MO, formerly of Bedford, IN, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at his residence.
Born August 25, 1980 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of Brian Hampton and Nancy (Benham) Hampton Goode.
He was a seed collector for Missouri Wildflower Nursery, Jefferson City, MO and a lifelong member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, where he attended grade school and was an altar server. Nicholas had a passion for living and was a devoted friend. He enjoyed gourmet cooking; loved outdoor activities; and was a musician, playing both the guitar and percussion instruments. He was a very free spirit.
Surviving are his mother, Nancy (James) Benham Goode, Jefferson City, MO; his father, Brian Hampton, Anderson, IN; one brother, Matthew Hampton, Oolitic; his maternal grandmother, Eileen Benham, Bedford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold L. Benham; uncle, Tom Benham; cousin, Vanessa Benham; and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Marie Hampton and Doris Hampton.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Bedford, with Fr. Rick Eldred and Deacon Dave Reising officiating. Burial will be in Hopkins Cemetery, Needmore.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
