Patricia A. Hoff, 72, of Bedford, died at 10 pm Monday at her residence. Arrangements are pending at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Wilma Irene Ragsdale Fields – Mitchell
Wilma Irene Ragsdale Fields, 91, of Mitchell passed away at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, at Johnson Christian Village in Bedford. Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
James H. McFarlan – Bedford
James “Jim” H. McFarlan, 68, of Bedford, passed away at 3:28 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born June 21, 1945 in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Raymond and Marie (Chastain) McFarlan.
He married Sandy Neal on May 7, 1981; and she survives. He was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1964. He was employed at NSWC Crane as a Project Technician, where he retired in 2011. He continued working for 2 years for SAIC. He was also an EMT for Dunn Hospital Ambulance Service for over 20 years, and was the Primary EMS Instructor. He was past Chief of the Huron Volunteer Fire Dept. in the mid 1970’s before becoming a member of the Shawswick Volunteer Fire Dept., as their Medical Officer, starting in June 2003. He was of the Nazarene faith. He was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge F & AM and the 32nd degree Mason. He was Firefighter of the Year, 2010. He loved fishing, camping, and restoring John Deere tractors.
Surviving are his wife, Sandy, of Bedford; three sons, James Edward McFarlan and wife Natalie, of Bedford, Patrick Spaulding, of Bedford, and Christopher McFarlan, of Bloomington; two daughters, Jamie Kelley, of Tampa, FL, and Tammy Marcin, of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce McFarlan, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Brother Doyle Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a memorial service with the Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Assoc. at 7 p.m. and there will be Masonic Rites held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday.

Wilbert Sebree – Bedford
Wilbert Sebree, 73, of Bedford, passed away at his residence at 12:40 a.m. on Monday November 18, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis on March 25, 1940 to Wilbert R. & Clara Belle (Swann) Sebree.
Survivors include one daughter Audrey Bough, of Bedford; one son Scott Sebree, of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Zachary Mundy, Jacob Mundy, Hannah Bough, Emily Bough, all of Bedford, Kennedy Maria Sebree, Gabriel Alexander Sebree and Noah Scott Sebree, all of Bloomington; two sisters Carol Ann Sebree, of Indianapolis and Diann and husband Steve Long, of Bloomington; one brother Tim Sebree, of Williams
Wilbert was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; David Sebree
Cremation was chosen. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
