Mary Ann McKeaigg Grona – Bedford
Mary Ann McKeaigg Grona, 72, of Bedford, went to heaven to be with her family Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at I.U. Health, Bedford.
Born June 12, 1941, in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Jasper and Elizabeth Fern (Brock) McKeaigg.
She married Robert “Bob” Grona on February 4, 1966 and he survives. She was a graduate of Tunnelton High School, Tunnelton, IN and had worked at RCA, Bloomington. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Leesville; Women’s Auxiliary of American Legion in Bedford and member of Eastern Star, Brownstown.
Surviving are her husband, Bob Grona, Bedford; her mother, Elizabeth Fern McKeaigg, Lawrence Co.; one brother, Larry (Gloria) McKeaigg, Jackson Co.; two granddaughters, Breana Grona and Sarah Elizabeth Hyatt, both of Kathleen, GA; daughter-in-law, Melanie (Lee) Grona Hyatt, Kathleen, GA; two nieces, Robbin Brock Ricketts and Nedra Brock (Scott) Fleetwood of Heltonville; two nephews, Shannon (Kyla) Brock and Brandon (Lisa) McKeaigg, both of Bedford; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; one daughter, Deborah Ann Mills; one son, James Edward Grona; and her first husband, Dewey Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Paul Newman officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
