Susan M. Busch – Bedford
Susan M. Busch, 52, of Bedford, passed away at 6:31 a.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2014 in Bedford.
Born April 28, 1961, in Elkhart, Indiana, she was the daughter of William Jeffrey Busch and Kolena Kay (Harrison) Busch Armstrong. She attended Bedford North Lawrence High School. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple. She was an avid collector of family pictures and enjoyed doing beadwork with her mother.
Surviving are her parents; her step-father, Larry Armstrong; her step-mother, Rosalie Busch; two sons, Mark William Harrison Busch and Ty Daniel York; one sister, Patricia Ann Busch Mabrey and her husband Matt Mabrey; Grandchildren, Kaden Busch, Jaden Busch, Mercedes Busch, Ashleigh Kellams, Xavier Vanmeter, Jasmine York, and Jordan York; Nieces and nephews, Elijah “Shorty” Langley, Jerrod Langley, Asia Rishforth, Chloe Langley, Keaton Hutchens, Ashley Hutchens, Meagan Mabrey, and Emilee Susanne Mabrey; grandfather, Mike Kosich; father of her children, Marc York; previous husband, Mike Bailey; and the love of her life, her dog, Turbo.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlotte Lewis, Noble Harrison, Jack and May Busch, and Kay Kosich; her best friend, Danny Busch; and husband, Tookie Scott.
She was dearly loved by all of her family.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Lyman Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home.

Paul Arther Mills – Orleans
Paul Arther Mills, 70, passed away at 11:39 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.
Born April 4, 1943, in Orange County, he was the son of Clarence C. and Roberta Mae (Moffatt) Mills. Paul was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his children, Teresa (Jack) Houston, Paoli, Penny Louise (Jason) Metcalf, Texarkana,Texas, Paul David (Tina) Mills, Mitchell, Scott Stickney, Florida, April Dawn Mills, Marana, Arizona; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
His parents; daughter, Paula Sue Mills; brothers, Robert Mills, and Phillip Mills; and sister, Mildred Kemple, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor Jackie Munson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Jack D. Kelley – Mitchell
Jack D Kelley, 81, of Mitchell went to be with his Lord at 5:50 pm on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born January 25, 1933 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Harlon and Mary Virginia (Clark) Kelley. He married Joan Rose Reed on August 25, 1951 and she preceded him in death in June 1981. He later married Delema Renie (Shaw) Ryan on February 19, 1989 and she survives. He was a former employee at Bedford Foundry and retired from General Motors after thirty-two years of service as a journeyman sheet metal worker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Delema Renie of Mitchell; two sons, Brian Kelley and wife, Nancy of Avoca, Ryan (Sully) Sullivan and wife, Julie of Bedford; three daughters, Patricia Elmore and husband, Gary of Louisville, KY, Marybeth Jenkins and husband, Darryl of Bedford, Joellen Hudson and husband, Doyle of Oolitic; nine grandchildren, Jodi (Kelley) Sproull and husband, Tim, Jana(Kelley) Morales and husband, Joe, Tina Sullivan Denesha and husband, Marty, Gina Sullivan, Trish Lackey and husband, Mark, Natalie Armbrister and husband, Ben, Elizabeth Hudson, William and Brian Elmore; sixteen great grandchildren; four sisters, Joan Wubben and husband, Bob of Springville, Norma Mikels of Springfield, MO, Beverly Fletcher and husband, Larry of Mississippi and Rebecca Goss of Springville; one brother, Stanley Kelley of Springville; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, a daughter, Diane Rose Kelley; a sister, Vera York and a brother, William “Bill” Kelley.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Thursday, February 6th at Life Tabernacle in Springville with Pastor Kenneth Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 5th at Day & Carter Mortuary and from 11 am until the hour of service on Thursday, February 6th Life Tabernacle.

Leslie Curtis “Curt” Gilstrap – Orleans
Leslie Curtis “Curt” Gilstrap, 57, passed away at 1:21 a.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, at his residence.
Born June 2, 1956 in Bedford, he was the son of Leo and Marion (Rocek) Gilstrap. He married Susie D. Taylor March 19, 1983. Curt had been employed at CPI, Paoli Inc., and Cook Inc. He graduated from Orleans High School in 1974. He attended University of Louisville on a full basketball scholarship and played for Denny Crum, and was voted the most valuable player his freshman year. He played basketball for Charles Traften at Oakland City University and graduated in 1978. He became a member of the Alaska Northern Knights professional basketball team.
Curt was rich in friends and was poor in nothing. He loved being outdoors and helping everyone in every way his body would allow. His true loves were his wife of 31 years and his three precious granddaughters. He was big in stature and heart. His heart was bigger than his body.
Surviving: wife, Susie Gilstrap, Orleans; sons, Corey Gilstrap and fiancée, Stephanie, Mitchell, Jordan Cain and his wife, Kelly Gilstrap, Orleans; mother, Marion Gilstrap, Orleans; grandchildren, Kelsey Ann, Kaitlyn Brooke, and Kacey Jean; brother, Steven Gilstrap, Orleans; sister, Rachel Wildman and husband, Ralph, Orleans; brother, David Gilstrap, Orleans; parents-in-law, Leroy and Eleanor Taylor, Mitchell; brother-in-law, Jack Taylor and his wife, Jeanette, Orleans; brother-in-law, Mark Taylor and his wife, Peggy, Orleans; sister-in-law, Patty Cottengain and her husband, Roger, Bloomington; aunts, Mickey Doub, Mitchell; Theresia Gilstrap, Orleans; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His father, Leo Gilstrap; daughter-in-law, Dana Brooke Gilstrap; maternal grandmother, Leona Rocek; and several uncles and aunts preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 6, in the Orleans ChristianChurch Unity Hall with Pastor Steve Von Bokern officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the Unity Hall.
