Michelle Renee (Hawkins) Bottorff – Judah
Michelle Renee (Hawkins) Bottorff, 46, of Judah, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her residence.
Born December 8, 1967 in Bedford, the daughter of Kenny and Judy (Jamison) Hawkins.
She was engaged to Chris Clifton. She worked at Hawkins Market in Oolitic, The Disney Store in the College Mall, Blackwell Construction in Bloomington, the Lawrence County Clerk’s Office and most recently at GM Powertrain. She was a 1986 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and a 1991 graduate of Indiana University. She was a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church and fought a brave battle against cancer, beating it twice.
Survivors include two sons, Arie Bottorff and Nash Bottorff both at home; her fiancée, Chris Clifton of Bloomfield; her parents, Kenny and Judy Hawkins of Judah; a brother, Kenneth W. Hawkins of Judah and a niece, Joanie Ann Hawkins of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Monday, March 31st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor David Wigington officiating. Burial will follow in Judah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 6 pm on Sunday, March 30th at the Day & Carter Mortuary and from 11 am until the hour of service on Monday, March 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Pallbearers are: Andy Chasteen, Zach Chasteen, Allen Chasteen, Mark Hillenburg, Treavor Phipps, Kyle Clifton and Nick Pridemore.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Zayden Spaulding – Bloomington
Zayden Spaulding, infant son of Michael Spaulding and Ashley Craig, was born at 9:40 a.m. and died
at 10:58 am on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his parents of Bloomington; maternal grandparents, Kevin Craig of Mitchell, Georgia Craig of
Bedford; paternal grandparents, Donna Phillips Stotts of Springville, Randall Needhammer of Mitchell; a brother, Jaden Collins of Indianapolis.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 pm on Saturday, March 29th at Springville West Cemetery with
Pastor Alan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow. No calling hours are scheduled.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Keith Jame Fields – Bedford
Keith James Fields, 44, passed away at 9:04 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Dive Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Rosalie Terry – Bedford
Rosalie Terry, 76, of Bedford died at 9:35 am on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Westview Nursing and Rehab. Arrangements are pending at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Terri Lynne Kelley – Charlotte, NC

Terri Lynne Kelley, 45 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at her residence in Charlotte. She was born in Bedford, Indiana, October 17, 1968, the daughter of Joyce Marie (Jeffries) and Gary Eugene Kelley.
Terri attended Oolitic Elementary and Jr. High and Bedford­North Lawrence High School, and was a 1987 graduate of Christiansburg High School in Christiansburg, VA. Terri attended Radford University and had worked as a Manager at McDonald’s, at Pulaski Furniture in Pulaski VA; She had also worked at MediaPlay in Charlotte, and most recently was an Information Systems Support Specialist for Blythe Construction, Inc. in Charlotte.
Terri was an imaginative and talented story teller who loved to read, write, paint, cook and bake. She loved children and animals. She loved being a Mother and spent as much time as she could with her son Darien. She was fiercely loyal to those who were related to her. She was a hard worker who did not like to ever give up on anything. She was an activist for human, animal and environmental rights. She loved to enter contests and had great success, winning several large prizes, including her last big win, a refrigerator last summer.
Terri was very close to all her Grandparents. When she was born, she had three Great­ Great Grandmothers, Four Great Grandfathers, Four Great Grandmothers, and all four of her Grandparents. She was especially close to her maternal Great Grandmother, Ruth A. Hillenburg who helped to raise her.
Survivors include her son, Charles Darien Kelley (at home) of Charlotte, her Mother, Joyce M. Jeffries, of Bedford IN, her brother, Christian Davis Kelley of Paoli, IN, her companion of 12 years, Grayland L. Lowry, Jr. and Darien’s father, Deric Bowen; Darien’s paternal Grandparents, Dorothy and Arthur Davis of Charlotte, and Darien’s paternal Great­Grandparents, Annie and Willie Davis of Charlotte.
Terri is also survived by numerous extended family on both sides, including many cousins, Aunts and Uncles too numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her Father, Gary Eugene Kelley, her Grandparents, an Uncle, Michael Brent Kelley (in infancy) and her Great Grandparents, as well as Darien’s Maternal Grandmother, Sylibia A. Bowen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, March 29 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery in Heltonville, IN. Visitation will be from 11 am until the hour of service on Saturday, March 29 at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
