Clark D. Brown Jr. – Bedford
Clark D. Brown Jr., 50, of Bedford, passed away on Monday April 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on April 5, 1964 in Washington County to Clark Brown, Sr. & Donna L. (Jones) Hall. He attended Mitchell Schools and worked at National Gypsum in Shoals.
Survivors include his daughters Amy Brown and Jessica Neal; father and step mother; Clark Brown Sr. and wife Carolyn; his mother and step father Donna Hall and husband Harold; brother Richard Brown; sister Sherry Robbins; grandchildren Hayley, Jeremy, Morgan, Lily, Bryan, Jr., Kyle, Misty and Chasity.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Homer Brown and Harry Jones.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Dolores Fidler – Bedford
Dolores Fidler, 80, of Bedford, died at 9:55 am on Monday, April 21, 2014 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born October 2, 1933 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Milo Mike and Catherine (Yeskie) Cain. She married David Keith Fidler and he preceded her in death. She was a clerk at the Sunoco Station in Bedford.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Branham; two grandchildren, Tandi Tipton and David Allen; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Mike Cain of South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Peggy Sue and a sister-in-law, Patty.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00
pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 25th and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, April 26th at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Loretta Phillips (Hall) Keseric – Ellettsville
Loretta Keseric, 87, of Ellettsville, died April 22, 2014 at home.
Born June 14, 1926 at Pueblo, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Lee Phillips and Ottie Mae (Thompson) Phillips. Her younger siblings are Mossi Marie, Goldie, Wendell, Hobart, Evalee, William, Joyce, Boyce, Zella Sue and Danny.
She is survived by Ralph and his three children, Cynthia, Ross and Jeanne, all out of area; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving her are four brothers and sisters, Wendell, Joyce, Zella Sue, and Danny and many nieces and nephews.
She received her elementary education at Gregory School, in Kentucky, and graduated from Gallileo H.S. in San Francisco, California. She received her Real Estate Management Diploma from Savoy School in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was employed as a supervisor at Crane Naval Station during World War II, and when the war ended she was a partner in Halls’ Grocery in Crystal, Indiana until 1966. Then she proceeded to San Francisco, California where she managed a large fifty unti apartment complex for approximately 20 years, and then worked for The Welfare Dept., home Health Care Unit, for about five years.
After that she returned to care of her aged mother, Ottie Mae Phillips at her home in Springville, Indiana. She also served as the first manager of Camelot Court in Mitchell, Indiana for a short period until she retired.
She and Ralph traveled extensively on vacations to Europe and Africa. Visiting approximately ten nations in Europe and seeing the pyramids of Egypt and the great megalith images at Karnak. They walked the Via DeLorosa, the field of blood, as walked by Jesus to Golgatha. They traveled through many states and Hawaii metal detecting, which was one of their hobbies along with caring for animals and birds. She raised many birds, cats, parakeets, parrots, canaries, peacocks, and loved squirrels, deer and wild life, always caring for and providing food and grain. During her last days she assisted Ralph in teaching a Bible Study Class at White River Lodge in Bedford, Indiana which Ralph will continue to teach.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Alan Phillips officiating. Entombment will follow in Springville West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, April 27th and from 4 p.m. to 8 pm on Monday, April 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Clovis Ronald Miller – Springville
Clovis Ronald Miller, 75, of Springville, died at 8:05 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 10, 1938 in Bedford, he was the son of Franklin and Glowdene (Blackwell) Miller. He married Christina Reynolds on August 24, 1957 and she survives. He was a construction superintendent at Rogers Group for twenty-five years and at Bezack Construction for twenty years. He was a member of the Oolitic Baptist Church and Kiwanis.
Survivors include his wife, Christina, of Springville; two daughters, Leslie Holtsclaw and husband, David, Lisa Combs and husband, Chuck all of Springville; four grandchildren, Stephanie Colclasure, Jennifer Holtsclaw, Kimberly Hillenberg and Nick Combs; four great grandchildren, Austin Hillenberg, Addie Colclasure, Zane Hillenberg and Zak Colclasure; a sister, Janet Wells of Oolitic.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, April 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Richard Tallman officiating. Burial will follow in Lowder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 25th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
