Carl Edward “Bandaid” Roberts – Ellettsville
Carl Edward “Bandaid” Roberts went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2014.
He was born April 11, 1942 to the late Robert and Ollie Roberts of Ellettsville. He was the last surviving member of the Roberts’ eleven children.
Carl is survived by his loving wife Nancy Lee (Myers) Roberts, they were married June 26, 1976. Currently they were residing in Krum,Texas.
Carl was a loving Father of three children, Steven Michael Raney-(Linda), Virginia (Gina) Pumphrey,-(Todd), and Karen Short-(Robert). He was so proud of his family, he has seven Grandchildren, and three Great-Grandchildren. Also surviving several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Carl spent several years as a Butcher for Ellettsville’s first IGA owned by his brother, Felix. Then he also had his own Auto Body and Paint Garage. Finally, he retired from Otis Elevator after over thirty years of service.
Cresthaven Funeral Home of Bedford are in charge of the arrangements.
His service will be held at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 2411 E. Second Street, Bloomington, IN., Saturday April 26, 2014, viewing will be one hour at 10:30 a.m., with his funeral following at 11:30 a.m. Graveside services will be at Ellettsville’s Presbyterian Cemetery, burial will follow.
