Kevin Lee (Cowboy) Jones – Bedford
Kevin Lee (Cowboy) Jones, 49, of Bedford, died at 1:15 am on Monday, May 5, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born February 15, 1965 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Clifford Jones and Bill and Charlene (Phillips) Banks. He was a truck driver and loved mule riding, camping and his beloved dog, Duke.
Survivors include his children, Kacy Turpin and husband, Tim, of Bloominton, Kevin Jones, Jr. of Bloomington, Niky Jones of Mitchell and Nicole Jones of Indianapolis; his significant other, Nicole Burnett and her children, Taylor and Tyson; his siblings, Laverne Jones and wife, Sandy, of Bedford, Melissa Goodman and husband, Billy, of Bloomington, Terry Banks of Bloomington and Gerald Banks of Texas; grandchildren, Ryatt Riggle, Katelynn Turpin, unborn baby girl Turpin, Bryson Jones, Jaysen Edwards; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father and his grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Thursday, May 8th at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church with Bro. Ronnie Frost and Bro. Larry Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service on Thursday, May 8th at the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.
