Wayne P. Girdley – Bloomington
Wayne P. Girdley, 84, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 3 p.m. at his residence.
Wayne was born in Bedford on December 19, 1929 to Harry & Mable (Yaney) Girdley. He graduated from Bedford High School and Indiana University with a degree in Education, he was a retired Math teacher at Bloomington South High School, he was an US Air Force veteran, and belonged to the Indiana Teacher’s Association, he was an avid IU Basketball fan. Wayne married Elizabeth Moore Girdley on September 3, 1959 and she preceded him in death on October 10, 2013.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday May 15, 2014 from Noon until 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Memory Gardens
