Janice J. Dowling – Bedford
Janice J. Dowling, 63, of Bedford, died at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born January 8, 1951 in Council Bluff, Iowa. She retired from White Castle in Orleans. She married Roy Dowling on December 25, 1985 and he survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Tommy Dowling and Jeff Harris both of Russell, KS, David Harris of Texas and Jerry Harris of Kansas; a daughter, Bonnie, of Florida; two grandchildren, Ariel and David; and one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, June 27th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, June 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
