Bernard “Jahn” Magers – Williams
Bernard “Jahn” Magers, 62, of Williams, passed away at his home on Sunday July 13, 2014.
He was born in Lawrence County on January 11, 1952 to Harry & Thelma (Graham) Magers. He married Kelli Marie Ray Magers in Lawrence County in April 1997 and she survives. He had been a mobile home installer for Briscoe Mobile Homes.
Jahn had raced Stock Cars and had worked in the Pit crew for Briscoe Mobile Homes Sprint Car; h was also an avid builder of race cars. He was a member of the Bedford Boat & Sportsmen’s Club.
Survivors include his wife Kelli Ray Magers of Williams; daughter Kristen Marie Jaggers of Bedford; grandchild Taylor Reid Jaggers of Bedford; two brothers Barry Magers of Bedford and Danny Magers of Lawrence County; several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lana Lyons.
Cremation with no services was chosen.
Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford is in charge of arrangements.

Ruth Arnold, 96, passed away at 10:01 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her residence.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Neil Kelly – Bedford
Neil Kelly, 72, of Bedford, died Sunday, July 20, at his residence.
Arrangements are pending at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Charles Fields, Jr. – Fayetteville
Charles Fields, Jr., 86, of Fayetteville, died at 2:52 am on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford.
Born April 28, 1928 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Charles and Violet (Pierce) Fields. He married Alta Mae Crane on April 28, 1949. He retired as a truck driver for Indiana State Highway and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a past president of the Eagles. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his best friend, Alta Mae Crane of Bedford; a son, Charles Andrew (Andy) Fields and wife, Grace, of Pierre, SD; a daughter, Joanne Spaulding and husband, James, of Fayetteville; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Carl L. Fields of Florida and Wayne Fields of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jerry Fields; a brother, Cecil Fields and a
sister, Maggie Fields Fisher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Cemetery with military rites accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 and D.A.V. Chapter 2. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Monday, July 21s and from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Tina M. Holley – Norman
Tina M. Holley, 53, of Norman died Friday, July 18, 2014 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
She was born July 8, 2014 in Decatur, IL. She was a certified nurses’ assistant at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Mundell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 22nd in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary and from 9 a.m. until the hours of service on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
