Dale G. Waldbieser – Mitchell

Dale G. Waldbieser, 74, of Mitchell, passed away at 9:06 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 31, 1940, in Terre Haute, he was the son of Philmon Henry and Marjorie Zelma (Swank) Waldbieser. He married Phyllis Jean Maybaugh June 30, 1962. Dale was a farmer and the founder of Sugar Creek Sporting Clays and Hunting Preserve. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 250, National Rifle Association, and the National Bird Game Association. He graduated from Indiana State University and attended Purdue University.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Jean Waldbieser, Mitchell; children, Kris Lynn (Jim) Sergio, Indianapolis; Brian (Andrea) Waldbieser, Mitchell; granddaughters, Stephanie Baker and Briley Waldbieser
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Pastor John Lane and Pastor Ronnie McLain officiating. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Cemetery in Center Point, Indiana. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Thomas J. Baugh – Mitchell
Thomas J. Baugh, 66,of Mitchell passed away at 8 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014, at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born January 28, 1948, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Delbert and Fern (Arnold) Baugh. He married Marilyn Kay Harper August 9, 1969. He was last employed by National Motor Club. Tom graduated in 1966 from Mitchell High School and was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn K. Baugh, Mitchell; twin nieces, Christie Steed and Crystal Miller; sister-in-law, Rhonda Baugh, Mitchell
His parents; and brothers, David Baugh and twin, John Baugh, preceded him in death.
Cremation was chosen, and a family graveside service will be at a later date at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Jerry Allen officiating.

Barbara Sue Ficklin – Bedford
Barbara Sue Ficklin, 65, of Bedford, died at 4:45 am on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
Born November 26, 1948 in Washington, IN, she was the daughter of Rev. Cloval Patton and Viola (Brown) Patton. She married Marion E. Ficklin on November 5, 1966 and he survives. She was a Supervisor of Advanced Data Operations at the I.U. Alumni Assoc. where she retired after twenty-seven years. She was a member of Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene where she played piano and sang all her life. She was a member of the Patton Trio that traveled and sang gospel music.
Survivors include her husband, Marion, of Bedford; three daughters, Kristi Norman and husband, Mark, Kelli Morris and husband, Bill and Kimberly Guerra and husband, Rogelio, all of Bedford; six grandchildren, Brittany Rodrigues (Kristan), Bryant Norman (Whitney), Brianna Bartlett, Braden Bartlett and Jamison and Lyric; one great grandchild, Brecken
Sue Norman; two step great grandchildren, Braxten and Mikaela. She was “Granny” to Josh and Libbi Landers. Also surviving is a brother, Doyle Ron Patton and wife, Sally of Seymour; two sisters, Judy Patton-Rushing of New Albany and Donna J. Landers and husband, Perry, of Springville; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Shirley and Betty Patton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday, October 1st at Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Duane Brown and Rev. Duane Boady officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 30th and from 9 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, October 1st all at Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the I.U. Foundation for I.U. Simon Cancer Center for Cancer Research.

Thomas Kuhbander, 72, of Mitchell, passed away at 7:18 p.m. Sunday, September 28, at Garden Villa in Bedford.

Patsy Gilliland, 79, of Bedford, died at 7:20 am on Monday, September 29, 2014 at the home of her granddaughter in Orleans.

Robert Keith “Crazy Bob” Webb – Bedford
Robert Keith “Crazy Bob” Webb, 65, of Bedford, passed away at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at IU Health Hospice House, Bloomington.
Born August 10, 1949, in Lawrence County, Indiana, he was the son of Leland G. and Marcella (Tolbert) Webb.
He worked at Kaiser Aluminum, of Bedford, at G.E. Bloomington, and was a construction worker. He was of the Christian Faith. He was a lifetime member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club and a member of the Bedford Eagles 654.
He is survived by two close friends, Steven Taylor and Seth Turpin, of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine; one son, Steven K. Webb; one brother, Steven L. Webb; one sister, Judy Box; and his best friend Kenny Wane Mundy.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Mike Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Pinhook Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. An Eagles Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m.
